Instantly forgettable…

I’m a great believer in the notion that we should never stop learning and even though I have been a in sales for 45 years, I still attend training courses. I wanted to tell you what I learned from just one of them.

To be honest I seldom learn anything totally new but, perhaps 10 years ago years, ago my wife and I attended a course entitled ‘How to Improve Your Customer Service;’ a subject which is particularly close to my heart.

The speaker made this statement which has always remained with me and has had a profound effect on the way we operate our business, The Bungalow Centre.

The statement was this…

‘If you only offer the level of service that your customer expects, then it is instantly forgettable. Your service will only prove memorable if it is either Better or WORSE that was expected.’

If you think about this… it is evidently true. This is why, for instance, we regularly publish our testimonials because any agent can boast about their service but we let our customers speak for us…

If you haven’t already experienced our service than I do hope the opportunity will arise at some stage in the future.
