This page is dedicated to the memory of our dear boss and founder of The Bungalow Centre, John Nixon, who sadly passed away at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital on 16th September 2017.
John was best friend and incredible husband to Kim Nixon, a loving and devoted father to his daughter Katy, a dear brother to Tony and his wife Jane, a fun-loving uncle to Jon and Sarah and a faithful friend to those too numerous to mention.
John was an ambassador for integrity and compassion. Using his unique personal qualities working on behalf of the Spiritualist Movement, The Samaritans, The Salvation Army, the BH1 Project for the homeless, the Quakers, and the Healers of the New Church, he was a champion for fairness and social justice. He had an absolute belief that every individual deserved a second chance, thereby changing the lives of so many for the better.
John’s limitless passion, drive and enthusiasm for life will leave an enormous chasm in all our lives.
He always said ‘If you can change just one life, your life has real purpose.‘
John Nixon lived a life fulfilling his purpose of loving kindness and service towards his fellow man.
